Refuge of Grace NYC was founded in 2015. The heart of Refuge is to bring the church closer and make it more accessable to women from all walks of life. Refuge provides a space where women can feel safe, heal and be built up.

 

It's a natural reaction for us to retreat when we feel like we've done or are doing something that others may disagree with. In those moments, we retreat from many things, including church. Refuge's mission is to bridge the gap between the church and God's beloved children. Our means is to provide pastoral care to women who are presently outside of the church.

 

 

Our leaders are also women from all walks of life filled with wisdom. Where we've all started out looks very different, but we are the same in that we are women. Because we are women, we have a mandate on our lives to help bring change in the lives of the other girls and women around us. Lets do this!
